CityWatch Editor MONROVIA - Investigators are searching for a man caught on surveillance camera as he vandalized a marked Monrovia Police patrol unit, stealing parts from the vehicle and fleeing the scene. The vandalism occurred at the A Line Station Square, 1629 S. Myrtle Ave. The suspect forcibly removed lighting and radio equipment from the SUV, according to the Monrovia Police Department. The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s. He has an average build and stands 5‘ 9“ tall. He wore black shoes, black pants, a red, hooded sweatshirt, a hi-vis green safety vest and black hat. He also appeared to be pushing a jogging stroller. Anyone who can help identify the suspect is urged to call the Monrovia Police Department at 626-256-8000. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor MONROVIA - An unknown number of suspects in a possible white Honda car vandalized at least six cars overnight February 27. A resident reported damage to four vehicles just after 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Lemon Avenue. The vehicles had various paint ball damage including three shattered windows, according to the Monrovia Police Department. An hour after the first call, police were told of two more vandalized vehicles, this time in the 400 block of East Foothill Boulevard. One additional window was found shattered, Monrovia Police said.
